Do I have to be on-campus to use the library databases?

Answer

You can use most library databases from wherever you please - as long as you have an Internet connection and are able to authenticate.

When you are not on campus and try to access a database, you will be asked to enter which college/university you are registered with, and your name and barcode number from your DC ID card. This information will let OhioLink's computer verify that you are a student at one of the member institutions who pay for access to the databases.   You will then be given access for 2 hours.  After two hours, you can re-authenticate.
