What are course reserves?
Answer
Course reserves are books or audiovisual items an instructor makes available through the library, housed at the circulation desk, so that students enrolled in a particular course can have access to them.
They can be a professor's personal copies, or they might be copies owned by the library. Sometimes articles are placed on electronic reserve. In most cases, print/AV reserve items are loaned for two hours at a time and must be used within the library and not taken out of the building.
