What is interlibrary loan?

Answer

Interlibrary loan is just what it says - loans between libraries.  Or, the ability to borrow an item you need which Defiance doesn't own from another library.

When Defiance's catalog or databases don't give you access to an item (book, dvd, article) you need, just fill out and submit this form. We will try and borrow the item for you from another library. We'll start by trying to find your item here in Ohio, but we can borrow outside of the state if necessary.

Interlibrary loan services are restricted to current DC students, staff, and faculty members.
