Answer

Yes, you can very easily borrow items from other libraries! We participate in OPAL and OhioLINK consortiums to increase your access to resource

Have items from other libraries delivered to Pilgrim Library for you to pick up.

Within the OPAL or OhioLINK catalogs, click on the "Request" button next to the item you want. Fill in your name and library card number/ barcode number, select Pilgrim Library as the pickup location, and wait for an email that tells you the item has arrived. Click here for more complete directions on this process.

You can also complete an Interlibrary Loan Request form to have items delivered from other campuses, even beyond our consortiums. Click here to access this form.

Have items delivered to other libraries and pick them up there.

When you are requesting an item, you have the ability to select another library as the pick-up location.

Use your Defiance College id card to borrow items at other library facilities.

Your id card will allow you to check out items at any OhioLINK library
