Course reserves are items an instructor makes available through the library so that students can have access to them. Sometimes this means an extra copy of a textbook, or a few supplemental reading materials. Sometimes this means articles that can be accessed electronically.  In most cases, reserve items may be loaned for two hours at a time within the library.
