Yes, the library has the Defiance Crescent-News in print. It is delivered in late afternoon by the local carrier.  We keep the latest 2 months’ worth behind the counter of the structured study area on the main/upper floor, with the latest 3 issues on the display rack. Please ask at the circulation desk for any back copies.

Issues from 1984-1985 and 1987-2002 are available on microfilm in the library.  They are kept in the filing cabinets outside the Hench Reading Room on the main floor, in the alcove at the far end of the structured study area. Please ask for assistance at the circulation desk if you would like to use these machines.

If you need other years than those we own, the Defiance Public Library on Fort Street downtown has a complete back run on microfilm.  Contact them at 419.782.1456 or visit their website.
