When I log in to Moodle, I don't see my course. What should I do?
For Students: There are a few reasons why you may not see your course listed when you log into Moodle.
- Your instructor may not be using Moodle for this class. Moodle is not required for all instructors, and some do not choose to use this tool. Be sure to ask your professor whether he/she plans to use Moodle for your course.
- Your instructor may be using Moodle, but he/she may not have made the class available to students yet. By default, each Moodle course is invisible to students until the instructor goes in and manually makes it available. Ask your professor if the course has been made available; if the answer is yes, email a Moodle administrator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Moodle will put you on the participants list for any course that you are actively enrolled in according to OneStop. If there are disrepcrancies with your OneStop account, there may be disrepcrancies with Moodle.
For Instructors: You must be manually added to your courses prior to each semester. If you do not see courses that you are teaching, please contact a Moodle administrator (email@example.com or 419-783-2490).
